The rot from Soji's carcass is so overwhelming that it drives your sensitive nose and squeamish stomach off the hill.

I, however, am used to the smell of rotting flesh (bloated, rotting roadkill putrefying in the summer sun) and take the Smelly Hill!

But what you didn't know, was that newly exposed rock releases radon gas. As you are gently swaying to sounds of "Dust in the Wind", the radon gas causes you to pass out.
